Progetto Preliminare di un Motor-Yacht Open di 42 piedi

Abstract

Questa Tesi riguarda il progetto preliminare di un Motor-Yacht Open di 13 metri, volto all’utilizzo mediterraneo per piacevoli giornate all’aria aperta e brevi crociere. FUN42 è progettato per essere costruito in lega d’alluminio, raggiungere una velocità di 40 nodi, avere un design accattivante ed un layout pratico. Il materiale di costruzione, il sistema propulsivo e la presenza di quattro posti letto sono alcune delle caratteristiche che spiccano fra le imbarcazioni di questo settore. Il progetto preliminare comprende lo sviluppo dell’imbarcazione in questione nell’ambito di idrostatica, idrodinamica, design, strutture ed impianti.

This Thesis concernes the preliminary project of a 13-meter Open Motor-Yacht, intended for a Mediterranean Sea use, ideal for daily boat tours in the open air and short cruises. FUN42 is designed in aluminum alloy, to reach a speed of 40 knots, to feature an engaging design along wiyh a practical layout. The construction material, the propulsion system and the presence of four berths are some of the features that stand out among other boats of this market segment. The preliminary project involves the development of the vessel in terms of hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, design, structures and onboard systems.
