Pedagogia ed educazione al sentimento.

Abstract

L’elaborato ha inizio con una spiegazione sulla pedagogia in quanto scienza, che vive il duplice paradosso di sapere fondato su un epistemologia solida e l’idea che aleggia che essa sia un sapere doxastico, privo di fondamento scientifico. Dopo un’introduzione epistemologica sulle tematiche sopracitate, vengono descritti il metodo pedagogico, il destinatario della scienza e gli oggetti di studio della pedagogia, formazione e istruzione culturale, tralasciando l’educazione a cui verrà riservato interamente il secondo capitolo. Il fulcro della tesi è l’aspetto educativo, che contraddistingue il lavoro dell’educatore, facendo particolare riferimento alle metodologie utilizzate senza tralasciare l’importanza dell’emozionalità che si associa a questo mestiere. L’educazione è presentata come fenomeno relazionale, dinamico e pervasivo, che si realizza in diversi ambienti: famiglia, scuola, chiesa, società e media, in particolar modo social media. Durante la stesura è stato brevemente dedicato uno spazio alla dis-educazione, in quanto parte del processo educativo dell’essere umano. Successivamente si approfondirà l’educazione al sentimento, ponendo l’accento sul ruolo dell’educatore come guida empatica, capace di promuovere consapevolezza emotiva, inclusione e valorizzazione della diversità, in particolare della neurodiversità. In chiusura, la tesi propone alcuni strumenti utili all’educatore nel compito di educare alle emozioni: la musicoterapia e l’arteterapia. L’elaborato si configura come invito a una pedagogia che unisca cuore e mente, e che si assuma la responsabilità di formare esseri umani consapevoli, empatici e attivi nella società.

The thesis begins with an exploration of pedagogy as a science, which experiences a dual paradox: on one hand, it is founded on a solid epistemological basis; on the other, it is often perceived as a doxastic form of knowledge, lacking scientific foundation. Following an epistemological introduction on these themes, the pedagogical method is described, along with the subject of this science and its objects of study—namely, formation and cultural instruction—while intentionally leaving education to be discussed in full in the second chapter. The core of the thesis is the educational dimension, which defines the work of the educator, with particular attention to the methodologies used and the emotional aspects inherent in the profession. Education is presented as a relational, dynamic, and pervasive phenomenon that takes place in various settings: family, school, church, society, and, in particular, social media. A brief section is dedicated to dis-education, considered an integral part of the human educational process. The thesis then examines emotional education, highlighting the educator’s role as an empathetic guide capable of promoting emotional awareness, inclusion, and the appreciation of diversity—especially neurodiversity. In conclusion, the thesis presents tools that can support the educator in teaching emotions, such as music therapy and art therapy. The work ultimately serves as an invitation to a pedagogy that combines heart and mind, embracing the responsibility of forming conscious, empathetic, and socially engaged human beings.
