L'analisi proposta si concentra sul fenomeno delle seconde generazioni, con particolare attenzione ai processi di costruzione dell'identità, di integrazione sociale, al sentimento di appartenenza e all'importanza della rappresentazione nella letteratura e nei media. Il testo esplora le varie definizioni attribuite alle seconde generazioni, analizzando le statistiche relative alla fascia di popolazione. Il cuore del lavoro riguarda il concetto di identità, i dilemmi legati alla scissione identitaria, e alla costruzione identitaria attraverso le relazioni interpersonali, con un focus sul sentimento di appartenenza e sul ruolo della cittadinanza. La terza parte dell'elaborato approfondisce il tema della rappresentazione, esaminando l'importanza di una rappresentazione positiva in letteratura e nei media. Furthermore, the issue of the lack of adequate representation is discussed, highlighting its psychological and social consequences. The analysis concludes with some reflections on the potential effects of more inclusive and diverse representation and the importance of creating narratives that reflect multicultural reality in a more balanced way.
