Analisi di processi presso un terminal dell'Autorità Portuale di Sistema Nord Occidentale: il ruolo dell'Autostrada del Mare nello sviluppo della logistica sostenibile

Abstract

Alla base di questo lavoro vi è il problema dell’inquinamento portuale e un’analisi degli effetti che l’implementazione delle Autostrade del Mare avrebbe. Ormai da molti anni la cura per l’ambiente è diventata un punto cardine delle strategie aziendali, questo studio va ad analizzare quali sono le cause per cui un’impresa intraprende progetti green e quali sono i vantaggi che essi portano. Nella prima parte dello studio viene stabilito cosa rappresenta il progetto europeo delle AdM, successivamente si stabilisce quale è la situazione odierna dello sviluppo delle Autostrade del Mare in Europa e in Italia, esplicitando rotte e traffici. Sempre nella prima parte dello studio si vanno ad analizzare quali sono le potenzialità di sviluppo del progetto, sia in Europa che nel mondo. Lo studio prosegue utilizzando una metodologia gerarchica di calcolo, costituita dal Pairwise Comparison e la tecnica AHP, con lo scopo di stabilire una valutazione di sostenibilità di una supply chain di trasporto, dove la catena di fornitura è stata creata con l’aiuto del software Anylogistix, e dove con sostenibilità si intendono le sue tre accezioni della Triple Bottom Line. Il calcolo dell’Indice di Sostenibilità è stato eseguito due volte, prima in uno scenario dove si utilizza il trasporto “tutto strada”, e in seguito nella stessa supply chain ma nel caso in cui si utilizzi il trasporto combinato offerto dai servizi AdM. L’indice e tutti i suoi livelli gerarchici (criteri, sottocriteri e indicatori) dei due scenari, sono stati confrontati con lo scopo di esplicitare siano stati gli effetti dell’implementazione delle AdM, dal punto di vista ambientale, economico e sociale. Per il calcolo dell’indice sono stati ponderati i criteri, i sottocriteri e gli indicatori, stabilendo una gerarchia di importanza, grazie a ciò è stato possibile capire quali sono gli aspetti più critici per migliorare la sostenibilità della catena di fornitura, aiutando a capire su quali indicatori è prioritario agire.

At the basis of this work there is the problem of port pollution and an analysis of the effects that the implementation of the Motorways of Sea would have. For many years environmental care has become an important aspect of company strategies, this study analyzes what are the reasons why a company undertakes green projects and what are the advantages they bring. In the first part of the study it is established what the European MoS project represents, subsequently it is established what is the development of the current situation of the Motorways of the Sea in Europe and in Italy, explaining routes and traffics. Also in the first part of the study we analyze the development potential of the MoS project, both in Europe and in the world. The study continues using a hierarchical calculation methodology, consisting of Pairwise Comparison and the AHP technique, with the aim of establishing a sustainability assessment of a transportation supply chain, where the supply chain was created with the help of the software Anylogistix, and where sustainability refers to its three facades of the Triple Bottom Line. The calculation of the Sustainability Index was performed twice, first in a scenario where "all road" transport is used, and then in the same supply chain but in a case with combined transport offered by AdM services. The index and all its hierarchical levels (criteria, sub-criteria and indicators) of the two scenarios were compared with the aim of clarifying the effects of the implementation of the MoS, from an environmental, economic and social point of view. To calculate the index, the criteria, sub-criteria and indicators were weighted, establishing a hierarchy of importance. Thanks to this it was possible to understand which ones are the most critical aspects for improving the sustainability of the supply chain, helping to understand which indicators are a priority to act on.
