Riproduzione interpretativa e genere

Abstract

Il presente elaborato ha come tema la riproduzione interpretativa di genere nella fascia di età dai 0 ai 6 anni, sulla quale si è concentrato il lavoro di osservazione e ricerca svolto durante gli ultimi due anni e mezzo.La scelta di questa tematica deriva dalla lettura del libro Pink is the new black delle Professoresse L. Stagi ed E. Abbatecola nel quale illustrano il lavoro di ricerca da loro compiuto nelle scuole di infanzia genovesi.Il primo capitolo inquadra dal punto di vista teorico e metodologico la problematica analizzandola in maniera cronologica partendo dalle sue origini. Seguendo l’evoluzione nel tempo si arriva ad affrontare il tema del patriarcato e dell’immagine della donna nelle società patriarcali. L'evoluzione socioculturale di quest'ultima ha reso fondamentale l'analisi del ruolo dell’aspetto estetico nella percezione dell’identità di genere. La parte finale del primo capitolo è invece dedicata alla maschilità, con un approfondimento sullo società fondata sul patriarcato e sulla patrilinearità in cui è radicato il concetto di maschilità tossica. Il secondo capitolo è la parte di elaborato dedicata alla segregazione formativa in ambito scolastico e all'analisi degli aspetti negativi che influenzano in particolare le bambine. Diversi paragrafi di questo capitolo sono dedicati all’illustrazione e all'analisi dei dati rilevati durante la ricerca sul campo nell’ambito dei servizi educativi pubblici e privati. Intesa inizialmente come una testimonianza del forte radicamento di una visione binaria, la riflessione si sposta su altre componenti legate alla socializzazione secondaria quali i giochi , i cartoni, i media e la pubblicità. Il terzo capitolo è incentrato sull'analisi qualitativa e quantitativa delle difficoltà effettive riscontrate nei percorsi formativi (scientifico, sportivo, scolastico e lavorativo) da parte degli individui di sesso femminile.

The present paper has as its theme the interpretative reproduction of gender in the age group from 0 to 6 years, on which the observation and research work carried out during the last two and a half years of work has focused.The choice of this theme derives from reading the book Pink is the new black by Professors L. Stagi and E. Abbatecola in which they illustrate the research work they carried out in Genoese nursery schools.The first chapter of the paper frames the problem from a theoretical and methodological point of view by analyzing it chronologically starting from its origins. This part covers the issues related to gender studies: where they start and why, to follow their evolution over time, up to addressing the issue of patriarchy and the image of women in patriarchal societies. The sociocultural evolution of the latter has made the analysis of the role of aesthetic appearance in the perception of gender identity fundamental. The final part of the first chapter is instead dedicated to masculinity, with an in-depth analysis of the development of masculinity in a society that is still based on patriarchy and patrilinearity in which the concept of toxic masculinity is rooted. The second chapter is the part of the paper dedicated to educational segregation in the school environment and the analysis of the negative aspects that influence girls in particular. Several paragraphs of this chapter are dedicated to the illustration and analysis of the data collected during the field research in the field of public and private educational services. Initially intended as a testimony to the strong rooting of a binary vision, the reflection shifts to other components linked to secondary socialization such as games, cartoons, the media and advertising. The third chapter focuses on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the actual difficulties encountered in training courses (scientific, sports, school and work) by female individuals.
