Analisi comparativa della traduzione del libro V13 di Emmanuel Carrère

Abstract

La presente tesi analizzerà la traduzione in italiano del libro V13 di Emmanuel Carrère, focalizzandosi principalmente sulla traduzione dei termini giuridici e della variazione diastratica. Il primo capitolo si concentra sulla vita dell’autore e in particolare sul suo libro V13, in cui viene riportato il processo agli attentatori che nel novembre 2015 hanno seminato il panico a Parigi. Il secondo capitolo si focalizza sulle caratteristiche del testo di partenza e sulle difficolta nella traduzione in italiano. Infine, l’ultimo capitolo analizza alcuni degli estratti del libro che hanno dato maggiori problemi al traduttore.

This thesis will analyse the Italian translation of Emmanuel Carrère's book V13, focusing mainly on the translation of legal terms and diastratic variation. The first chapter focuses on the author's life and in particular on his book V13, in which the trial of the bombers who sowed panic in Paris in November 2015 is reported. The second chapter focuses on the characteristics of the source text and the difficulties in translating it into Italian. Finally, the last chapter analyses some of the extracts from the book that gave the translator the most problems.
