Un legame oltre le parole: analisi della relazione tra i comportamenti non verbali e l'attaccamento durante la Friends and Family Interview

Abstract

Questa tesi di ricerca si propone di approfondire la relazione tra la teoria dell’attaccamento e i comportamenti non verbali, con particolare attenzione a quelli indicativi di Paura/Disagio e Rabbia /Frustrazione. Lo studio ha coinvolto un campione costituito da 15 adolescenti di età compresa tra i 12 e i 17 anni, a cui è stata somministrata la Friends and Family Interview (FFI; Steele & Steele, 2005), un’intervista semi-strutturata adatta per valutare l’attaccamento in adolescenza. Le interviste sono state videoregistrate e i comportamenti non verbali sono stati codificati da due giudici indipendenti utilizzando uno specifico sistema di codifica delle scale non verbali. I risultati ottenuti dall’analisi correlazionale dei dati non hanno evidenziato correlazioni significative tra i comportamenti non verbali e i pattern di attaccamento. Data la natura esplorativa di questo studio e i suoi limiti, si auspica che future ricerche possono analizzare più approfonditamente la relazione tra i comportamenti non verbali e l’attaccamento.

This research thesis aims to explore the relationship between attachment theory and non-verbal behaviors, with a specific focus on those indicative of Fear/Discomfort and Anger/Frustration. The study involved a sample of 15 adolescents aged 12 to 17, who were administered the Friends and Family Interview (FFI; Steele & Steele, 2005), a semi-structured interview designed to assess attachment in adolescence. The interviews were videotaped, and non-verbal behaviors were coded by two independent judges using a specific non-verbal coding system. The results of the correlational analysis did not reveal significant correlations between non-verbal behaviors and attachment patterns. Given the exploratory nature of this study and its limitations, it is hoped that future research will more thoroughly investigate the relationship between non-verbal behaviors and attachment.
