LA DIADE MADRE-BAMBINO NEL CONTESTO DELLA DEPRESSIONE POST PARTUM: DINAMICHE INTERATTIVE, CONSEGUENZE E INTERVENTO

Abstract

La depressione post partum è uno dei principali esiti negativi successivi al parto che ha ripercussioni significative sullo sviluppo della relazione madre-bambino e sul bambino stesso. La tesi analizza i fattori di rischio della depressione post partum e spiega come la depressione incida significativamente sulla sensibilità materna, sulla comunicazione e sulla capacità della madre di interpretare i bisogni e gli stati affettivi del proprio bambino. Questa condizione costituisce un fattore di rischio per lo sviluppo emotivo, cognitivo e comportamentale del bambino a breve e a lungo termine. La tesi si conclude con un’analisi di diverse tipologie d’intervento, ponendo particolare attenzione ai programmi focalizzati sul miglioramento delle dinamiche interattive madre-bambino.

Postpartum depression is one of the main negative outcomes following childbirth, having significant consequences on the development of mother-child relationship and on the child. The thesis analyzes the risk factors for postpartum depression and explains how depression significantly affects maternal sensitivity, communication, and the mother's ability to interpret her child's needs and emotional states. This condition is a risk factor for the child's emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development in both the short and long term. The thesis concludes with an analysis of various types of interventions, with particular attention to programs focused on improving mother-child interaction.
