Progettare la Smart City: modello concettuale e azioni di ricerca

Abstract

Negli ultimi anni, il concetto di Smart City è diventato sempre più importante nel dibattito scientifico e nell’attuazione pratica, diventando un’ opportunità per ridefinire le città e migliorare la vita nelle comunità urbane. Le prime riflessioni e i progetti su questo tema suggeriscono che lo sviluppo urbano “intelligente” non dipende solo dall’infrastruttura fisica e dalla sua innovazione, ma anche dalla qualità del capitale umano, sociale e naturale. Una città “smart” è quella che soddisfa i bisogni dei cittadini nel rispetto dell’ambiente. Negli ultimi anni, la sinergia tra nuove tecnologie e componenti urbane è diventata fondamentale per il concetto di Smart City, con cittadini che giocano un ruolo attivo nella raccolta e diffusione di dati e informazioni. È importante che il concetto di Smart City vada oltre il marketing o la ricerca di consenso, ma che trovi anche condizioni pratiche che favoriscano la sua implementazione.

In recent years, the synergy between new technologies and urban components has become fundamental to the Smart City concept, with citizens playing an active role in the collection and dissemination of data and information. It is important that the Smart City concept goes beyond marketing or the search for consensus, but also finds practical conditions that favor its implementation.
