VIOLENZA DI GENERE: DALLE ORIGINI DEL FENOMENO ALLE POLITICHE DI PREVENZIONE E CONTRASTO

Abstract

Il tema che ho voluto trattare per questa tesi, riguarda il fenomeno della violenza di genere. Ho deciso di partire spiegando l'origine e i le varie forme di tale fenomeno. Inoltre per avere una visione più ampia ho cercato di descrivere come funziona il cosiddetto "spirale della violenza" e come si può manifestare. Ho continuato tale elaborato, parlando della normativa che é stata promossa nel nostro Paese, per poi ricollegarmi all'importanza dei movimenti femministi, dai quali sono derivati i Centri Antiviolenza e le Case Rifugio. Ho voluto approfondire il ruolo dell'assistente sociale e l'importanza del lavorare in rete insieme ad altri servizi specialistici. Infine ho sottolineato l'importanza della sensibilizzazione tra le nuove generazioni, rispetto al fenomeno della violenza.

The theme I wanted to deal with for this thesis concerns the phenomenon of gender violence. I decided to start by explaining the origin and the various forms of this phenomenon. Furthermore, to have a broader vision I tried to describe how the so-called "spiral of violence" works and how it can manifest itself. I continued this essay, talking about the legislation that has been promoted in our country, and then reconnecting to the importance of the feminist movements, from which the Anti-Violence Centers and the Shelters were derived. I wanted to explore the role of the social worker and the importance of working in a network together with other specialist services. Finally, I underlined the importance of raising awareness among the new generations regarding the phenomenon of violence.
