Lo sviluppo psicomotorio nel disturbo dello spettro autistico.

Abstract

La presente tesi si occuperà, nella sua prima parte, di dare una definizione di sviluppo psicomotorio, attraverso l'analisi dei contributi offerti su questo argomento da noti psicologi (Piaget, Wallon, Freud). Sarà quindi introdotto come oggetto di studio il disturbo dello spettro autistico, con la disamina di sintomi e patologie che rientrano al suo interno e con un focus sulle modalità di riconoscimento precoce delle forme in cui esso può presentarsi. Saranno quindi esaminate alla radice le aree prevalentemente compromesse al suo subentrare e le funzioni esecutive in esso implicate, concentrando l'attenzione sulle sue manifestazioni in termini di ritardi o fragilità riscontrabili in soggetti diagnosticabili o diagnosticati come affetti da tale disturbo. Verso la conclusione, la trattazione verterà sulle modalità di intervento in termini di individualizzazione delle operazioni psicomotorie in età precoce, con particolare riferimento al modello Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) e alle sue potenzialità terapeutiche a sostegno dello sviluppo del bambino sul piano mentale e fisico. Questa ricerca intende mettere in luce l'importanza di un tempestivo riconoscimento di sintomi e patologie dipendenti dal disturbo in questione, allo scopo di favorire un intervento non tardivo, inteso a ottenere risultati positivi con il ricorso a metodi appropriati e scientificamente testati.

This thesis will deal, in its first part, with giving a definition of psychomotor development, through the analysis of the contributions offered on this topic by well-known psychologists (Piaget, Wallon, Freud). Autism spectrum disorder will therefore be introduced as an object of study, with an examination of the symptoms and pathologies that fall within it and with a focus on the methods of early recognition of the forms in which it can present itself. The areas predominantly compromised upon its onset and the executive functions involved in it will therefore be examined at their root, focusing attention on its manifestations in terms of delays or fragility found in subjects who can be diagnosed or diagnosed as suffering from this disorder. Towards the conclusion, the discussion will focus on intervention methods in terms of individualization of psychomotor operations at an early age, with particular reference to the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and its therapeutic potential to support the child's mental and physical development . This research intends to highlight the importance of timely recognition of symptoms and pathologies dependent on the disorder in question, with the aim of encouraging early intervention, aimed at obtaining positive results with the use of appropriate and scientifically tested methods.
