L'autismo nel periodo prescolare: approcci e interventi educativi

Abstract

La tesi si concentra sull'importanza dell’inclusione scolastica per migliorare la qualità della vita delle persone con autismo. Attraverso un'analisi dettagliata delle caratteristiche dell'autismo nella prima infanzia e dei modelli eziopatologici proposti nel corso degli anni, si esplorano le sfide e le opportunità nell'educazione di bambini con spettro autistico. Si approfondisce inoltre l'importanza dell'interazione sociale attraverso il gioco e lo sviluppo dell'intersoggettività come strumenti chiave per favorire la partecipazione attiva e inclusiva dei bambini con autismo. Infine, vengono esaminati gli interventi educativi mirati a supportare i bambini con autismo nel superare le limitazioni legate alla teoria della mente, promuovendo così una maggiore comprensione e inclusione nella società.

The thesis focuses on the importance of school inclusion to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism. Through a detailed analysis of the characteristics of autism in early childhood and the etiopathological models proposed over the years, it explores the challenges and opportunities in educating children with autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, it examines the importance of social interaction through play and the development of intersubjectivity as key tools to promote the active and inclusive participation of children with autism. Finally, educational interventions aimed at supporting children with autism in overcoming the limitations related to the theory of mind are examined, thereby promoting greater understanding and inclusion in society.
