L'intervento educativo e didattico nella scuola primaria per alunni con ADHD.

Abstract

In questa tesi discuterò di un tema che mi è sempre stato molto a cuore: riguarda i disturbi del neurosviluppo, ovvero quei disordini che si manifestano nelle prime fasi della crescita di un essere umano e che persistono anche in età adulta, ragion per cui possono essere diagnosticati a qualsiasi età. Nel caso di questo elaborato, ho deciso di approfondire l’ADHD, il disturbo da deficit di attenzione e iperattività. Ho scelto questa tematica perché ritengo che non molti, nonostante possano averne già sentito parlare, lo conoscano per quello che è realmente. Ho iniziato il mio lavoro di ricerca con una spiegazione generale, soffermandomi sugli studi e sulle ricerche condotte negli anni, per poi addentrarmi in quelle che sono le caratteristiche principali, i vari sottotipi dell’ADHD, come si arriva ad una diagnosi e quali sono gli strumenti di valutazione. Con particolare rilievo ho voluto esporre le difficoltà che possono riscontrare i bambini e ciò che ne consegue, problematiche che riguardano sia i genitori che gli insegnanti, e, inoltre, ho voluto sottolineare l’importanza del rapporto tra bambini e adulti ma anche tra gli adulti stessi, che sono riferimento essenziale per gli infanti. Successivamente, ho parlato dell’importanza della collaborazione tra scuola e famiglia, volta a favorire serenità e apprendimento quanto più efficaci possibile. Sono arrivata, infine, al punto a me più caro della trattazione: ho cercato di individuare e analizzare le possibili strategie di intervento da usare in ambito educativo scolastico, nella fattispecie, nella scuola primaria. Grazie a questo lavoro di ricerca mi sono messa in gioco e ho arricchito le mie conoscenze sull'argomento, ho allargato gli orizzonti su molti aspetti per me fino ad ora sconosciuti.

In this thesis I will discuss a topic that has always been close to my heart: it concerns the neurodevelopmental disorders, namely those disorders that occur in the early stages of a human being's growth and persist into adulthood, reasoning that they they can be diagnosed at any age. In the case of this paper, I decided to delve into ADHD, the attention deficit disorder attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I chose this topic because I believe that not many people, although they may have already heard of it, know it for what it really is. I began my research paper with a general explanation, dwelling on the studies and research conducted over the years, and then delving into what are the main characteristics, the various subtypes of ADHD, how a diagnosis is arrived at, and what the assessment tools are. With particular emphasis I wanted to expose the difficulties that children may experience and what follows, issues that affect both parents and teachers, and, in addition, I wanted to emphasize the importance of the relationship between children and adults but also between adults themselves, who are essential references for infants. Next, I spoke about the importance of collaboration between school and family, aimed at fostering serenity and learning as effectively as possible. I came, finally, to my most cherished point of the discussion: I tried to identify and analyze possible intervention strategies to be used in school education, in this case, in the elementary school. Through this research work, I put myself out there and enriched my knowledge on the subject, broadened my horizons on many aspects hitherto hitherto unknown.
