Gli stereotipi di genere e il loro ribaltamento nel film "Non sono un uomo facile"

Abstract

Con questa tesi voglio analizzare il ruolo della donna nella nostra società, soffermandomi sugli stereotipi di genere e ciò che essi comportano nella vita quotidiana delle donne, e come essi vengano perpetuati dai media. Ho scelto di soffermarmi sul caso specifico del film “Non sono un uomo facile” in quanto trovo che mostri perfettamente, anche se in modo ironico, le dinamiche sociali che opprimono le donne nella vita quotidiana. Analizzerò quindi le scene del film tramite libri e articoli inerenti a questi argomenti. Ho deciso di parlare di questo tema in quanto la sociologia, e più precisamente gli studi sul genere, è un ambito che ha sempre suscitato il mio interesse, grazie anche ai corsi che ho seguito in università; inoltre, questo film mi ha colpito per la sua chiarezza e la sua capacità di mostrare in modo molto semplice dinamiche in realtà molto complesse.

With this thesis I want to analyse the role of women in our society, reflecting on gender stereotypes and what they imply into the daily life of women, and how they get perpetuated by media. I chose to dwell on the specific matter of the movie “I am not an easy man” since I think that it shows perfectly, even if ironically, the social dynamics which oppress women on a daily basis. So, I’ll analyse the movie’s scenes explaining them through books and articles related to these subjects. I chose to talk about this topic given that sociology, and more precisely the studies about gender, is an area that has always aroused my interest, also thanks to the courses that I attended in university; moreover, this movie surprised me for its clarity and ability to show very complex dynamics effortlessly.
