L'analisi dell'autotraduzione di The House on the Lagoon di Rosario Ferré.

Abstract

Il mio elaborato è costituito da una panoramica sullo spagnolo degli Stati Uniti, con l'arrivo degli spagnoli, i tratti linguistici e l'insegnamento dello spagnolo negli USA; dopodiché vi sono varie definizioni e cenni storici sul concetto di autotraduzione e infine l'analisi delle differenze tra le due versioni linguistiche del romanzo di Rosario Ferré.

My thesis is composed by an overview of spanish in the United States, the arrival of the spanish, some linguistic features, and the teaching of Spanish in the United States. Then there are some definitions and historical hints on the concept of the self-translation and at the end there is an analysis of the differences between the two language versions of Ferre's novel.
