Donne migranti: Le violenze e le discriminazioni nell’accoglienza italiana. Un approccio intersezionale e una prospettiva di genere.

Abstract

La presente ricerca analizzerà il fenomeno della migrazione femminile in Italia, in particolare nell’ottica delle disuguaglianze di genere e delle difficoltà che la donna migrante incontra durante il processo migratorio e nel sistema di accoglienza. Perché la donna subisce molteplici forme di discriminazione durante l’intero processo di accoglienza e perché è considerata un soggetto maggiormente vulnerabile nell’analisi della migrazione? L’argomento verrà analizzato seguendo una prospettiva intersezionale, intesa come modus operandi per uno studio leale sulla condizione femminile delle migrazioni, che ci aiuterà a cogliere l’importanza nel considerare i molteplici aspetti identitari che caratterizzano la donna migrante durante tutto il processo migratorio, e analizzare i molteplici sistemi di oppressione a cui è sottoposta.

This research will analyze the phenomenon of female migration in Italy, in particular from the perspective of gender inequalities and the difficulties that migrant women encounter during the migration process and in the reception system. Why does woman suffer multiple forms of discrimination during the entire reception process and why is she considered a more vulnerable subject in the analysis of migration? The topic will be analyzed following an intersectional perspective, understood as a modus operandi for a fair study on the female condition of migration, which will help us grasp the importance of considering the multiple identity aspects that characterize the migrant woman throughout the entire migration process, and analyze the multiple systems of oppression to which it is subjected. Through the study of gender and a feminist perspective we will see that the migrant woman suffers a "double invisibility": as a woman, and therefore categorized as more fragile and vulnerable in the vision of patriarchal culture, and as an immigrant, and therefore discriminated against due to his ethnic affiliation. We will see how the intersection between different systems of oppression, specifically ethnicity and gender, and social class, lead migrant women to experience greater difficulties in integration and social inclusion.
