GREENWASHING: IL "FALSO MITO" DELL'ECO-FRIENDLY

Abstract

L'elaborato si prefigge lo scopo di trattare il tema del "greenwashing" sotto diverse prospettive: da un lato, la collocazione normativa sul territorio Italiano e le recenti pronunce giurisprudenziali in territori diversi da questo; dall'altro, lo studio affrontato negli anni su tale fenomeno in materia economica, ma anche nell'attualità e la concreta ripercussione che tale fenomeno ha sulla vita quotidiana. Tale problematica, infatti, è in costante mutamento e in crescente espansione: ciò crea lacune normative da dover colmare al fine di garantire protezione al consumatore dalle insidie che presenta una comunicazione non trasparente.

The paper aims to address the issue of "greenwashing" from various perspectives. On one hand, it examines the regulatory framework in Italy and recent legal decisions in different jurisdictions. On the other hand, it explores the research conducted over the years on this phenomenon in the economic context, as well as its current relevance and the tangible impact it has on everyday life. This issue is continuously evolving and expanding, leading to regulatory gaps that need to be filled in order to ensure consumer protection against the pitfalls of non-transparent communication.
