INSICUREZZA LINGUISTICA E LINGUA FRANCESE: RISULTATI DI UN SONDAGGIO

Abstract

Lo scopo di questa ricerca è analizzare nel dettaglio il fenomeno chiamato “insicurezza linguistica” che si potrebbe osservare in alcune categorie di locutori della lingua francese. Attraverso un sondaggio svolto proprio in lingua francese, indirizzato a locutori di lingua francese come lingua seconda o straniera, residenti in Francia o in paesi ove il francese è una delle lingue ufficiali, si è cercato di indagare come gli interlocutori fossero in grado di percepire le variazioni linguistiche del francese rispetto a quello chiamato standard, ovvero all’origine quello parigino, e di come valutassero la propria percezione delle loro biografie linguistiche. Con l’aiuto delle risorse della Rete e della tecnologia è stato svolto un sondaggio online, al quale i partecipanti hanno aderito in modo anonimo e hanno risposto a domande talvolta a risposta multipla talvolta aperta. Nella prima parte della ricerca sono state messe in luce le definizioni dell’insicurezza linguistica e le prime tappe che hanno portato a scoprire questo fenomeno. Nel secondo capitolo ci si è soffermato sui fattori che portano gli interlocutori a questo sentimento, talvolta non in maniera del tutto consapevole. Nel terzo capitolo sono stati esposti gli elementi del sondaggio e l’analisi dei risultati ottenuti con schemi e tabelle. La parte finale del lavoro permette di trarre alcune conclusioni preliminari.

The purpose of this research is to analyze in detail the phenomenon called "linguistic insecurity" that could be observed in some categories of speakers of the French language. Through a survey carried out in the French language, addressed to speakers of French as a second or foreign language, resident in France or in countries where French is one of the official languages, we tried to investigate how the interlocutors were able to perceive the linguistic variations of French with respect to the so-called standard, or at the beginning the Parisian one, and how they evaluated their own perception of their linguistic biographies. With the help of the Network’s resources and technology, an online survey was carried out, to which the participants joined anonymously and answered sometimes multiple-choice questions. In the first part of the research, the definitions of linguistic insecurity and the first stages that led to the discovery of this phenomenon were highlighted. The second chapter focused on the factors that lead the interlocutors to this feeling, sometimes not in a fully conscious way. In the third chapter the survey elements and the analysis of the results obtained with diagrams and tables were presented. The final part of the work allows some preliminary conclusions to be drawn.
