MUSEO DELLE EMOZIONI Percezione dell'atmosfera architettonica attraverso un dialogo interattivo tra emozioni e progetto

Abstract

L’architettura è tra le opere umane più avvolgenti, poiché fa parte della nostra quotidianità - case, cinema, scuole, musei, ecc - rendendo impossibile per l’uomo concepire una visione spaziale non architettonica (Giacchetta, Novi, Raiteri; 2019).

Partendo dal progetto presentato per il concorso “Museum of Emotions" ci siamo interrogate su come l’architettura potesse essere in grado di influenzare la nostra percezione; questo ha portato all’analisi dei diversi fattori che la compongono ed il loro modo di influire sulle nostre emozioni, facendoci scontrare con il fenomeno dell’ atmosfera.

Con questo fenomeno abbiamo compreso come i nostri sensi ci permettono di interagire con percezioni combinate ed in grado di suggestionarci, rendendolo fondamentale ed essenziale per la progettazione di spazi architettonici.

La conoscenza più approfondita di questi meccanismi ci ha condotto ad una maturazione del progetto iniziale; sviluppando un volume che, seppur più semplice, fosse in grado di condizionare maggiormente le emozioni dell’individuo, rendendolo più partecipe con lo spazio circostante.

Architecture is among the most enveloping human works, since it is part of our everyday life - houses, cinemas, schools, museums, etc. - making it impossible for man to conceive a non-architectural spatial vision (Giacchetta, Novi, Raiteri; 2019).

Starting from the project presented for the "Museum of Emotions" competition, we questioned ourselves on how architecture could be able to influence our perception; this led to the analysis of the different factors that compose it and their way of influencing our emotions, making us collide with the phenomenon of the atmosphere.

With this phenomenon we have understood how our senses allow us to interact with combined perceptions and are able to influence us, making it fundamental and essential for the design of architectural spaces.

The deeper knowledge of these mechanisms led us to a maturation of the initial project; developing a volume which, although simpler, was capable of influencing the emotions of the individual more, making him more involved with the surrounding space.
