La Supply Chain: la strada verso il successo mondiale nel mondo della nautica. Il caso Sanlorenzo Yacht.

Abstract

Negli ultimi anni si è assistito ad un importante cambiamento all’interno del mercato, dall’avvento della globalizzazione, ai continui cambiamenti delle esigenze del consumatore ed alla maggior competitività di esso. La gestione sempre più attenta di tutte le attività quali approvvigionamento, produzione e distribuzione del prodotto al cliente, si è resa così necessaria. Possiamo affermare come il ruolo della Supply Chain è stato essenziale per il raggiungimento di un successo aziendale. L’elaborato in esame ha l’obiettivo di fornire un’analisi approfondita su questa tematica, così ricorrente negli ultimi anni, con un breve collegamento alla Logistica, essendo queste attività integranti e collegate tra loro. Quando si parla di Supply Chain, si può ricondurre il concetto ad una catena di approvvigionamento, che comprende l’intero processo a partire dall’ acquisizione dei materiali dal fornitore al produttore, per arrivare alla consegna del prodotto. Il Supply Chain Management si occupa in maniera più specifica della gestione dei flussi tra le diverse fasi di una Supply Chain, al fine di minimizzare i costi totali. Il suo obiettivo è quello di integrare, gestire e coordinare tutte le sue attività. Si è ritenuto interessante approfondire questa tematica aziendale, spiegando il processo della Supply Chain dalla sua definizione allo sviluppo, mettendo in rilievo le diverse fasi che la compongono, i suoi obiettivi e come gestirla. La Logistica assume un ruolo molto importante quando si parla di Supply Chain ed è per questo che all’interno dell’elaborato le è stato dedicato un capitolo a parte, spiegando di cosa si occupa, dei vari tipi e delle differenze con il Supply Chain Management. Per poter comprendere al meglio questa tematica è stato utile unire alla teoria un caso pratico, si è scelto di approfondire il processo della Supply Chain con riferimento a Sanlorenzo, un’azienda del mio territorio leader mondiale nella nautica per la produzione di Yacht.

This has led to increasingly more precise management of all activities starting from procurement, through the production phase, up to the distribution of a product or service to the customer. The result of which has made the role of the Supply Chain increasingly essential in achieving corporate success. The paper in question aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the role of the Supply Chain with a brief connection to Logistics; as these activities are integrated and connected to each other. Being able to understand the entire process of procurement, production and distribution of a product or service to a customer is essential for anyone in the world of business. A Supply Chain includes the entire process; starting from the acquisition of materials from a supplier by a manufacturer, up to the delivery of the product. Supply Chain Management deals more specifically with the management of flows between the different phases, in order to minimize its total costs, while keeping its efficiency. Supply Chain Management has the main objective of integrating, managing, and coordinating all phases. It is important to delve deeper into this corporate topic, explaining the Supply Chain process from its definition, development, highlighting the different phases that compose it, what its objectives are and how to best manage it. Included is a chapter on Logistics as it plays a very important role when it comes to Supply Chain. Explaining what Logistics is and the similarities and the differences between these two processes. Furthermore, to understand the topic better, it is useful to combine the theory with a practical case study. This paper delves deeper into the Supply Chain process by reflecting on a company in my area, a world leader in the nautical sector to produce Yachts: Sanlorenzo.
