Abstract

Il presente elaborato nasce dall’esperienza di tirocinio svolta presso la ditta Florentia Cosmetics, che come si evince dal nome si occupa di produzioni cosmetiche. Lo scopo principale del presente lavoro è quello di spiegare quanto l’attività formativa sia stata fondamentale per ampliare le proprie conoscenze e approfondire le nozioni teoriche apprese durante il percorso di studi. Si è infatti trattato di un’attività multisettoriale che prevedeva la partecipazione attiva nelle varie fasi del processo produttivo, dalla selezione delle materie prime, passando per la formulazione, fino ad arrivare alla convalida attraverso i vari test di conformità. Tale esperienza si è anche rivelata utile per orientarsi meglio nel mondo del lavoro e valutare con più precisione e competenza futuri sbocchi professionali nel settore. L’obiettivo di fondo può essere ritrovato anche nella struttura del presente elaborato, che si è deciso di suddividere in 5 capitoli principali: nel Capitolo 1 viene presentato lo scopo dell’attività di tirocinio. Il Capitolo 2 riguarda, invece, la struttura della pelle e l’importanza della sua idratazione. In questa sezione vengono descritti brevemente i diversi prodotti cosmetici e il loro uso. Questi primi cenni teorici sono necessari per capire il ragionamento sul quale ci si è basati per formulare le varie preparazioni, argomento che verrà approfondito meglio nel Capitolo 3 dove saranno esaminati due prodotti considerati i “ cavalli di battaglia” dell’azienda. Si è deciso di elencare dapprima le formulazioni, poi di passare ad analizzare i metodi di lavorazione e in ultimo di descrivere brevemente i vari ingredienti dal punto di vista chimico e delle loro proprietà. Il Capitolo 4 è dedicato agli strumenti utilizzati per creare tali formulazioni e infine il Capitolo 5 si concentrerà sulla descrizione delle analisi chimico-fisiche e biologiche da me applicate su ogni prodotto prima della loro immissione sul mercato.

This paper focuses on the internship experience at the company Florentia Cosmetics, which, as the name suggests, deals with cosmetic production. The main purpose of this paper is to explain how fundamental the training activity was for broadening personal knowledge and deepening the theoretical notions learnt during the course of study. Indeed, it was a multi-sectoral activity involving active participation in the various stages of the production process, from the selection of raw materials, passing through the formulation, up to the validation using various conformity tests. This experience also proved useful for better orientation in the job market and a more accurate and competent assessment of future career opportunities in this sector. The underlying objective can also be found in the structure of this paper, which has been divided into five main chapters: Chapter 1 presents the purpose of the apprenticeship activity.Chapter 2 concentrates on the structure of the skin and the importance of its moisturisation. In this section, the different cosmetic products and their use are briefly described. These theoretical outlines are necessary to understand the reasoning behind the formulation of the various preparations, a subject that will be explored more in detail in Chapter 3, where two products considered to be the company's "strong point" will be examined. First the formulations will be listed , then the processing methods will be analyzed and at the end the various ingredients will be briefly described from a chemical point of view, focusing on their properties. Chapter 4 is dedicated to the tools used to create these formulations and finally, Chapter 5 will focus on the description of the chemical-physical and biological analyses I applied to each product before they were placed on the market.
