Gorbačëv: dalla caduta dell'URSS alla riunificazione tedesca

Abstract

L'obiettivo del lavoro è quello di analizzare gli anni tra il 1985 ( quando Gorbačëv salì al potere ) e il 1991 ( anno di dissoluzione dell'URSS ). In questo breve lasso temporale, ricco di novità e cambiamenti, oltre al caso sovietico emergeranno con forza le leadership delle due Germanie con, da una parte, il cristiano-democratico Helmut Kohl e, dall'altra, il socialista Erich Honecker. L'elaborato si concentrerà molto sui rapporti che entrambi ebbero con il segretario del PCUS analizzando ogni tipo di sfaccettatura. Verranno ripercorsi, inoltre, gli eventi che, nel novembre del 1989, portarono alla caduta del muro di Berlino e gli incontri internazionali che sancirono la definitiva caduta della RDT e la conseguente nascita di una Germania unita. L'ultima parte dell'analisi sarà riservata all'eredità lasciata dai tre protagonisti, analizzando meriti ed errori con un occhio critico verso il mondo attuale.

The goal of this work is to consider the period between 1985 and 1991. In this short period, with many changes, there will be three absolute protagonists: Gorbačëv, Kohl and Honecker. It will be very important to analyze their relationship with Gorbačëv and also with the other European leaders. Effectively RDT and RFT represented the two different point of view of the Cold War. Another significant part will be about the events during the night of November 9th 1989 and also during the international encounters about the future of Germany. In the last chapter there will be an analyses of the entail of the three protagonist with an eye on the actuality.
