STATI DEBOLI E ATTORI NON STATALI: IL CASO DEI NARCOTRAFFICANTI IN ECUADOR

Abstract

Alla base di questa tesi, si è definito cos’è il narcotraffico e si sono analizzate le cause e conseguenze di questo fenomeno, i motivi per i quali il paese andino è diventato un paese nel quale si è sviluppato e affermato il narcotraffico, ci si è soffermati sul ruolo svolto dal governo ecuadoriano per contrastare questo problema. Si è messa in evidenza la rivalità tra le bande locali che hanno portato alle sanguinose rivolte carcerarie e la presenza del crimine transazionale. Infine, si sono proposte eventuali soluzioni.

At the base of this thesis, It’s defined what drug trafficking is and analyzed the causes and consequences of this phenomenon, the reasons why the Andean country has become a country in which drug trafficking has developed and affirmed, and it was important to highlight the role played by the Ecuadorian government to counter this problem. The rivalry between local gangs that led to bloody prison riots and the presence of transnational crime was highlighted. Finally, possible solutions were proposed.
