IMMIGRAZIONE E INCLUSIONE: ITALIA ED EUROPA A CONFRONTO. Testimonianze e voci di immigrati.

Abstract

L’obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di analizzare la tematica dell’inclusione degli immigrati in Italia: ci si è focalizzati sull’analisi della legislazione in materia, del sistema di accoglienza e delle norme che riguardano l’inclusione scolastica degli stranieri. In seguito si sono illustrate le tematiche sopracitate in alcuni paesi europei, nello specifico Germania, Francia e Spagna, effettuando così un confronto con la realtà italiana. Infine, si sono presentate le testimonianze di alcuni immigrati intervistati che raccontano la loro storia. Il materiale utilizzato proviene da articoli presenti in rete e manuali che trattano l’argomento, sviluppando in tal modo una panoramica dettagliata della questione in esame. Dalle mie ricerche e dagli incontri con gli immigrati, è emersa la vera realtà del fenomeno migratorio che spesso resta sconosciuta ai cittadini dei paesi ospitanti ma che ha generato in me riflessioni e curiosità. Ciò che mi ha spinto a trattare questo argomento è stata la conoscenza di alcune famiglie straniere, incontrate attraverso il mio lavoro come addetta all’infanzia che svolgo presso una cooperativa sociale della mia città, Alessandria. Mi hanno raccontato aneddoti sulla vita condotta nel loro paese, sulla solitudine che provano ogni giorno e sugli ostacoli che hanno dovuto superare per arrivare a condurre una vita dignitosa: le loro parole mi hanno convinta ad approfondire e a conoscere nuove realtà.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the issue of the inclusion of immigrants in Italy: we focused on the analysis of the legislation on the subject, the reception system and the rules concerning the school inclusion of foreigners. Subsequently, the aforementioned issues were illustrated in some European countries, specifically Germany, France and Spain, thus making a comparison with the Italian reality. Finally, the testimonies of some immigrants interviewed who tell their story were presented. The material used comes from articles on the net and manuals that deal with the topic, thus developing a detailed overview of the issue in question. From my research and meetings with immigrants, the true reality of the migratory phenomenon has emerged which often remains unknown to the citizens of the host countries but which has generated reflections and curiosity in me. What prompted me to deal with this topic was the knowledge of some foreign families, met through my work as a childcare worker in a social cooperative in my city, Alessandria. They told me anecdotes about life in their country, about the loneliness they feel every day and about the obstacles they had to overcome to lead a dignified life: their words convinced me to deepen and get to know new realities.
