Modello di sostenibilità economico finanziaria di un operatore nel settore crociere di lusso innovative

Abstract

Questa Tesi ha l’obiettivo di analizzare, mediante la realizzazione di un modello, la fattibilità dal punto vista economico e finanziario di una compagnia di crociere di lusso, OceanSky Cruises, tenendo conto dell’appetibilità della proposta offerta per la clientela. Partendo dall’evoluzione storica del significato di lusso, si passerà a trattare tale concetto applicato al settore del turismo. Successivamente, l’attenzione si focalizzerà, in primis, sulle crociere di lusso e, in seguito, sui fattori che influenzano le scelte dei viaggiatori di questo settore. In particolare, verranno analizzati quelli che saranno i principali drivers del modello. Nel terzo capitolo verrà presentata una panoramica sulla compagnia presa in esame e sull’itinerario proposto. Inoltre, i dirigibili, mezzo con cui si svolgeranno le crociere in questione, verranno descritti sotto l’aspetto strutturale e funzionale, evidenziando la loro sostenibilità a livello ambientale. Infine, verrà presentato il modello, con una accurata descrizione dei legami tra le variabili, per poi, nel capitolo conclusivo, poter verificare l’effettiva sostenibilità del progetto ed ipotizzare nuove soluzioni future.

This Thesis aims to analyse the feasibility from an economic and financial point of view of a luxury cruise company, OceanSky Cruises, taking into account the attractiveness of the proposal offered to customers. Starting with the historical evolution of the meaning of luxury, we will move on to address this concept as applied to the tourism sector. Next, the focus will be on luxury cruises in the first instance, and then on the factors that influence the choices of travellers in this sector. In particular, what will be the main drivers of the model will be analysed. The third chapter will present an overview of the company under consideration and the proposed itinerary. In addition, the airships, the means by which these cruises will take place, will be described from a structural and functional aspect, highlighting their sustainability on an environmental level. Finally, the model will be presented, with a thorough description of the links between the variables, and then, in the concluding chapter, we will be able to verify the actual sustainability of the project and hypothesize new future solutions.
