Rappresentazioni e configurazioni accessibili per l’Architettura

Abstract

Viene trattato il tema delle rappresentazioni e configurazioni accessibili per l'Architettura; si sottolinea l'importanza di creare spazi accessibili ed inclusivi per tutte le tipologie di utente con una particolare attenzione alle categorie più fragili della società. Si tratta dunque il tema delle disabilità fisiche, psicologiche e sensoriali. L'attenzione maggiore è posta alla disabilità visiva e per questo si è sviluppata una proposta di intervento per il Dipartimento di Architettura e Design dell'Università di Genova. Il progetto include il posizionamento e l'inserimento di elementi come mappe tattili, percorsi podotattili, corrimano, strisce antiscivolo, avvisi sonori ecc., che risultano necessari a rendere il soggetto ipovedente o non vedente autonomo negli spostamenti interni ed esterni all'edificio.

The topic is the Accessible representations and configurations for Architecture; the importance of creating accessible and inclusive spaces for all types of users is emphasized with special attention to the most fragile groups of the society. Thus, the topic of physical, psychological and sensory disabilities is addressed. The greatest attention is paid to visual disabilities, and for this a proposal for intervention was developed for the Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genova. The project includes the placement and insertion of elements such as tactile maps and paths, handrails, non-slip strips, sound warnings, etc., which are necessary to make the visually impaired or blind person autonomous in moving inside and outside the building.
