Attaccamento e dipendenza da internet in adolescenza

Abstract

Il lavoro di tesi qui presentato ha lo scopo di approfondire la dinamica della dipendenza internet e del suo impatto sfavorevole sulla quotidianità dell’individuo, in particolare tra gli adolescenti, considerati la fascia maggiormente a rischio nello sviluppo della stessa, e allo stesso tempo quella più fragile e mancante di mezzi adeguati e funzionali per farvi fronte dato il loro percorso di sviluppo ancora in fase di maturazione. Ciò è stato possibile attraverso la lente della teoria dell’attaccamento che, attraverso vari studi presenti il letteratura e che sono stati esaminati all’interno di questo lavoro, si è rivelata una buona chiave di lettura del fenomeno facendo luce sia sui fattori di rischio che potrebbero potenzialmente condurre il giovane allo sviluppo di questa nuova forma di dipendenza sia per orientare gli sforzi d’intervento preventivi e terapeutici al fine di alleviare il danno che da esso deriva, potenziando quei fattori che sembrano proteggere il giovane dall’utilizzo problematico di internet.

The thesis work presented here aims to investigate the dynamics of internet addiction and its unfavorable impact on the individual's daily life, in particular among adolescents, considered the group most at risk in the development of the same, and at the same time the most fragile and lacking adequate and functional means to cope with them given their development path still in the maturing phase. This was possible through the lens of attachment theory which, through various studies present in the literature and which have been examined within this work, has proved to be a good key to understanding the phenomenon, shedding light on both risk factors and could potentially lead the young person to the development of this new form of addiction both to direct preventive and therapeutic intervention efforts in order to alleviate the damage that derives from it, strengthening those factors that seem to protect the young person from the problematic use of the Internet.
