Il personaggio dell'uomo selvatico nelle storie e fiabe biellesi.

Abstract

La mia tesi indaga la figura dell'uomo selvatico nella cultura biellese, in particolare di come essa sia raccontata tramite storie e fiabe. Inizialmente mi sono interrogata sull'origine del mito dell'uomo selvatico nel territorio alpino e poi in quello biellese, ho poi approfondito il suo legame con la cultura locale, la religione, l'arte etc. L'uomo selvatico è anche simbolo del diverso, dell'alterità che spaventa e affascina e da sempre viene narrato nelle storie orali e nelle fiabe. Mi sono quindi soffermata soprattutto a indagare in che forma e come questo personaggio venga raccontato ai bambini.

My thesis investigates the figure of the wild man in the Biella culture, in particular how it is told through stories and fairy tales. Initially I wondered about the origin of the myth of the wild man in the Alpine area and then in the Biella area, I then explored its link with the local culture, religion, art, etc. The wild man is also a symbol of the different, of the otherness that frightens and fascinates and has always been narrated in oral histories and fairy tales. I focused above all on investigating in what form and how this character is told to children.
