Violenza maschile sulle donne : quando è riconosciuta e considerata come violenza di genere

Abstract

Il percorso che si intende intraprendere è quello di cercare di riuscire ad evidenziare quando all'interno della società la violenza maschile contro le donne è riconosciuta. Si ritiene fondamentale per poter parlare della violenza maschile soffermarsi sul genere in quanto alla base della violenza, come fondamento e sostanza, si trova quella costruzione e gerarchizzazione sociale che nutre il concetto di genere. Pertanto, occorre partire proprio da quest'ultimo per riuscire a comprendere la matrice della violenza. Tutte le donne che subiscono violenza agli occhi della società hanno subito violenza? Ecco che emerge l’esigenza di soffermarsi sul ruolo che i media hanno nel diffondere e nel divulgare notizie: l’analisi permette di constatare che esistono notizie di serie A e notizie di serie B. In queste ultime, le protagoniste sono donne fortemente stigmatizzate e fragili, donne che appartengono ai cosiddetti spazi marginali e scomodi alla società. L’attenzione, su cui ci si intende soffermare in queste pagine, ricade proprio su queste donne e verranno prese in considerazione le violenze contro le donne anziane e le donne che fanno parte del mondo della prostituzione. Riguardo queste ultime è importante ricordarsi che la violenza che subiscono non è una violenza “altra”, ma è la medesima violenza di genere: la stessa violenza esercitata dall’uomo contro le donne perché donne.

The path we intend to take is to try to highlight when male violence against women is recognized within society. It is considered fundamental to be able to talk about male violence to dwell on gender because at the base of violence, as foundation and substance, there is that construction and social hierarchization that nourishes the concept of gender. Therefore, it is necessary to start from the latter in order to be able to understand the matrix of violence. Have all women who suffer violence in the eyes of society suffered violence? Here emerges the need to dwell on the role that the media have in spreading and disseminating news: the analysis allows us to see that there are news of series A and news of series B. In the latter, the protagonists are strongly stigmatized and fragile women, women who belong to the so-called marginal and uncomfortable spaces to society. The attention, on which we intend to dwell in these pages, falls precisely on these women and violence against elderly women and women who are part of the world of prostitution will be taken into consideration. With regard to the latter, it is important to remember that the violence they suffer is not "other" violence, but is the same gender violence: the same violence exercised by men against women because they are women.
