Aggressività e violenza domestica in età evolutiva

Abstract

The paper deals with the issue of aggression in developmental age, specifically how this can develop after being mistreated or having witnessed domestic violence. The first chapter focuses on the definition of the phenomenon, on the theories that aim to explain what is the origin of aggressive behavior and on the factors that contribute to the implementation of the latter. In the second chapter, the focus shifts to the evolution of aggressive behaviors in the developmental age, how they can lead to real pathologies and the crucial role played by families. Finally, in the third and final chapter, we will focus on the pervasiveness of the phenomenon within the walls of the home, on the direct and indirect consequences of domestic violence and on the importance of targeted interventions to control and prevent violence.

L'elaborato affronta la tematica dell'aggressività in età evolutiva, nello specifico di come questa possa svilupparsi dopo aver subito maltrattamenti o aver assistito alla violenza domestica. Il primo capitolo verte sulla definizione del fenomeno, sulle teorie che si propongono di spiegare quale sia l'origine del comportamento aggressivo e sui fattori che contribuiscono alla messa in atto di quest'ultimo. Nel secondo capitolo il focus si sposta sull'evoluzione dei comportamenti aggressivi nell'età dello sviluppo, di come possano sfociare in vere e proprie patologie e del ruolo cruciale svolto dalle famiglie. Infine, nel terzo e ultimo capitolo, ci si focalizzerà sulla pervasività del fenomeno tra le mura di casa, sulle conseguenze dirette e indirette della violenza domestica e sull'importanza degli interventi mirati per controllare e prevenire la violenza.
