La società delle dipendenze

Abstract

Dopo una prima analisi di quelle che sono attualmente le principali dipendenze della società (dipendenza da sostanze, da cibo, da internet, ludopatia e dipendenza affettiva), il focus è stato sulle tossicodipendenze da sostanze da abuso. Di queste sono state delineate le caratteristiche principali e le fasi che le caratterizzano. Il lavoro non si è però soffermato sulla mera analisi della dipendenza, ma anche e soprattutto sul ruolo che l’Assistente sociale ricopre durante il percorso del soggetto dipendente, dettagliando le fasi della relazione d’aiuto e le problematiche ad essa associate, tra le quali la sindrome del Burnout. Ultimo ma non meno importante lo studio del ruolo che la famiglia e la scuola ricoprono nei confronti del soggetto dipendente e di come un aiuto da parte di queste due “ istituzioni” possa influire positivamente sulla prevenzione e cura della dipendenza.

After a first analysis of the current addictions of the society (drugs, food, internet, gambling and love addiction), focus is given on the drugs addictions. About this last addiction, main features have been detailed, together with the related lifecycle phases. But the job is not only a simple analysis of the addiction itself, instead the main topic is the role that the Social Worker covers during the treatment path of the addicted subject, detailing the main phases of the social help and the associated issues, such as the Burnout syndrome. Last but not the least, the study of the role that Family and School cover toward the addicted subject, focusing on how a support given by these two “Institutions” can positively affect prevention and treatment of the addiction.
