This thesis describes the design and development of a web platform for the management of clinical information within the MIGLIORA project. The system was developed with the aim of supporting the management of patients’ personal and clinical data, the recording of medical examinations and their results, as well as the analysis of their evolution over time. Particular attention was paid to the modelling and interoperability of healthcare data through the adoption of the HL7 FHIR standard. The architecture was designed according to a modular approach, separating the frontend, backend, clinical resource management, authentication and persistence layers. The frontend was developed using Next.js, while the backend relies on NestJS and communicates with a HAPI FHIR server for the management of clinical information. Authentication and authorization are handled through Keycloak, with access controls based on the user’s role and on the association between physician and patient. The project also addressed the infrastructural aspects required for system deployment. The different components were containerized using Docker, organized across separate networks and coordinated through Docker Compose. The application was ultimately deployed on a remote virtual machine, using Nginx as a reverse proxy and Cloudflare services for public access and external access control. The resulting system is a modular and deployable platform that integrates clinical data management, interoperability, access control and separation of responsibilities, providing an extensible foundation for future developments.en_UK
