| it_IT |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis examines the relationship between attachment and inclusive processes in children with special educational needs aged 0-3, with particular attention to the early childhood education and care context. The aim is to explore the role of significant relationships and educational practices in supporting children’s well-being, development and participation.
The first chapter focuses on attachment theory, particularly the contributions of Bowlby and Ainsworth, the development of emotional bonds, the concept of the secure base and the importance of early relationships for children’s emotional and relational development.
The second chapter addresses inclusion in early childhood education and care services, focusing on special educational needs and the role of the environment in promoting every child’s participation. It examines the main characteristics of an inclusive nursery and the role of the educational team in creating spaces, routines and activities that respond to children’s different needs.
The third chapter connects these two areas by focusing on the educator’s role and the educational relationship. It explores observation, responsiveness, cooperation with families and services, and educational practices aimed at supporting children’s participation and autonomy.
Overall, the discussion highlights the close connection between relationships and inclusion, showing how a welcoming, predictable and flexible educational environment can promote children’s sense of security and participation while recognising their individual characteristics and potential. | en_UK |
