| it_IT |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis project presents the design and implementation of an educational robotics workshop aimed at high-school students in their final years, with the goal of supporting a more informed choice of their future university studies. The workshop is based on the LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 kit and its block‑based programming language, ensuring accessibility for students with different levels of programming experience.
The preliminary activities include assessing the available hardware through statistical analysis and designing and assembling the robots later used by the participants.
During the workshop, students engage in guided learning activities and receive support in developing the line‑following algorithm executed by the robot.
The final phase evaluates the effectiveness of the workshop through direct observation and the collection and analysis of questionnaires. The results were highly satisfactory. The workshop can be replicated and is recommended for extension, with appropriate enhancements, to more advanced educational contexts. | en_UK |
