Strategie cooperative in giochi non cooperativi ripetuti

Abstract

Nella tesi saranno trattati i giochi in forma strategica non cooperativa in strategie pure e miste. Definiremo l'equilibrio di Nash, riportando il teorema di Nash sull'esistenza di tale equilibrio e mostreremo un esempio. Successivamente, introdurremo i giochi ripetuti, ridefinendo i concetti visti nei giochi non ripetuti, e un teorema sull'esistenza degli equilibri per essi: il Folk Theorem. Infine, definiremo i giochi di Markov, adattando nuovamente i concetti precedenti, per creare un particolare "agente" che sia una soluzione cooperativa a dei dilemmi sociali (dilemmi non cooperativi) e riporteremo i dati di prove fatte da Adam Lerer e Alexander Peysakhovich su questo agente.

In the thesis we will consider non cooperative games in both pure and mixed strategies. We will define the Nash equilibrium, reporting the Nash theorem on the existence of said equilibrium and we will show an example. Afterwards, we will introduce repeated games, redefining the previous concepts, and a theorem on the existence of equilibria in said games: the Folk Theorem. Lastly, we will define Markov Games by adapting the previous concepts once again, to make a particular "agent" which will be a cooperative solution to social dilemmas (non cooperative dilemmas) and also we will report the results of tests made by Adam Lerer and Alexander Peysakhovich on this agent.
