Sistema adattabile per bivacchi d’alta quota

Abstract

Il mio lavoro di tesi si è incentrato sulla progettazione di una struttura per bivacchi d’alta quota adattabile. Questo perché tramite una raccolta dati è emerso che ancora oggi ci sono molti siti dove sarebbe necessario posizionare un bivacco d’alta quota, ma contemporaneamente numerosi bivacchi versano in condizioni di manutenzione davvero pessime. Per questo motivo mi sono concentrato sul concetto di adattabilità declinandolo in diversi aspetti quali: la capacità della struttura di riconfigurarsi in base ai dislivelli del terreno, alla leggerezza per una necessaria trasportabilità ed alla possibilità di riconfigurare facilmente l’assetto delle bucature (porte e finestre) per potersi adattare a differenti siti in termini di accessibilità, affaccio e vista.

My thesis focused on the design of an adaptable high-altitude mountain shelter. This project originated from a data collection process, which revealed that there are still many locations where a high-altitude shelter is needed, while at the same time many existing shelters are in very poor condition due to inadequate maintenance.

For this reason, I focused on the concept of adaptability, exploring it through several aspects: the ability of the structure to be reconfigured according to variations in the terrain, its lightweight design to ensure ease of transportation, and the possibility of easily reconfiguring the arrangement of openings (doors and windows) so that the shelter can adapt to different sites in terms of accessibility, orientation, and views.
