Transizione economica e nascita della mobilità sociale nella Champagne di inizio XX secolo.

Abstract

La tesi tratta la genesi dello status e della situazione sociale attuale nella regione vitivinicola della Champagne e del mercato internazionale attorno al suo prodotto iconico. L'analisi socioeconomica si sviluppa tramite il racconto degli eventi, delle guerre, delle crisi e delle figure principali che ne hanno influenzato maggiormente lo sviluppo. Attraverso varie le citazioni di fonti storiche, si scopre il motivo del successo e della stabilità odierna del dipartimento. Si fa particolare attenzione ai primi anni del XX secolo, alla battaglia della Marna ed alle condizioni di vita degli abitanti di Reims durante l'assedio tedesco del 1914.

The thesis deals with the genesis of the status and current social situation in the Champagne wine region and the international market around its iconic product. The socioeconomic analysis is developed through the narration of events, wars, crises, and the main figures who most influenced its development. Through various citations from historical sources, the reasons for the department's success and current stability are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the early years of the 20th century, the Battle of the Marne, and the living conditions of the inhabitants of Reims during the German siege of 1914.
