Gender Pension Gap. Origine del fenomeno e interventi correttivi

Abstract

Questa tesi affronta il Gender Pension Gap, ossia il divario pensionistico di genere. L'elaborato ha come obiettivo quello di analizzare i fattori strutturali che lo determinano, i differenti metodi di misurazione e la differenza rispetto al Gender Pay Gap. Viene analizzato anche il sistema pensionistico italiano, ripercorrendo le numerose riforme per arrivare a descrivere e comprendere al meglio le misure adottate per favorire le donne nel momento del pensionamento ed evitare differenze rispetto agli uomini. Infine vengono analizzate le proposte di riforma volte a garantire un futuro più equo dal punto di vista pensionistico e sociale tra donne e uomini.

This thesis deals with the Gender Pension Gap, which is the difference in pension income between man and women. Its main goal is to analyze the structural factors that cause this gap, the difference ways to measure it, and how it relates to Gender Pay Gap. It also looks at the Italian pension system and its many reforms over the years, showing how these focuses on the measures introduced to help women when they retire and to reduce the difference compared to man. finally, it presents some ideas and proposals for the future to make the pension system fairer and more balanced for everyone.
