The thesis explores the role of the Professional Educator in promoting the well-being of adolescents exposed to risk factors linked to early stressful life experiences, with reference to the selective prevention paradigm. Adolescence is analyzed as a phase of profound physical, cognitive, and emotional transformation, in which the individual redefines their identity through the main microsystems of reference: family, school, and peer group. These contexts, if dysfunctional, can constitute risk factors, while if supported by meaningful relationships and effective communication, they become protective factors. The thesis explores the role of the Professional Educator in the construction of individualized prevention and health promotion pathways through the development of life skills and the enhancement of personal empowerment. Included in the regulatory framework of Consolidated Law 309/1990 and the 2020-2025 National Prevention Plan, the reflection is enriched by the experience at the Bonfante Educational Community, where direct observation has made it possible to analyze the effectiveness of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) as a tool for intervention and support for the growth of minors. Educators, with their dual social and health expertise, emerge as a bridge between hardship and autonomy, capable of accompanying adolescents on an authentic path of maturation and self-determination, promoting the construction of a conscious and resilient future.en_UK
