ALLE RADICI DELL'AFFETTO: UN PONTE TRA LA TEORIA DELL'ATTACCAMENTO E LE EVIDENZE NEUROSCIENTIFICHE.

Abstract

L'elaborato analizza lo sviluppo affettivo attraverso l’integrazione tra teoria dell’attaccamento e neuroscienze. Dopo aver ripercorso i contributi di Bowlby, Ainsworth, Tronick e Main, con particolare attenzione all’attaccamento disorganizzato, vengono esaminate le basi neurobiologiche dei legami affettivi, dal sistema limbico al ruolo dell’emisfero destro, evidenziando l’impatto del trauma relazionale precoce e le potenzialità della neuroplasticità. La parte finale propone una sintesi tra prospettiva psicologica e neuroscientifica, discutendo le implicazioni cliniche e l’efficacia di interventi terapeutici mirati. Il lavoro delinea un quadro multidimensionale dello sviluppo affettivo e sottolinea la necessità di un approccio integrato per favorire comprensione, prevenzione e nuove prospettive di ricerca.

The dissertation explores affective development through the integration of attachment theory and neuroscience. It retraces the contributions of Bowlby, Ainsworth, Tronick, and Main, with particular focus on disorganized attachment, and examines the neurobiological bases of affective bonds, from the limbic system to the role of the right hemisphere, highlighting the impact of early relational trauma and the potential of neuroplasticity. The final section proposes a synthesis between psychological and neuroscientific perspectives, discussing clinical implications and the effectiveness of targeted therapeutic approaches. The dissertation outlines a multidimensional framework of affective development and emphasizes the need for an integrated approach to support understanding, prevention, and new directions for research.
