LA POLITICA ESTERA DELLA GRECIA NELL’EPOCA INTERBELLICA: DAL TRATTATO DI VERSAILLES AL TRATTATO DI LOSANNA

Abstract

Lo scopo principale di questa tesi è presentare il contesto e la situazione in cui si trovava la Grecia all’indomani della Conferenza di Pace di Parigi, nonché il modus operandi della sua politica estera e il mantenimento delle relazioni internazionali con i principali attori dell’epoca negli anni successivi. Non possono essere trascurati gli affari interni, o le turbolenze domestiche, se si preferisce. Come ogni studioso di relazioni internazionali ben sa, le dinamiche interne costituiscono un fattore cruciale che influenza e orienta la politica estera di un paese.

The main purpose of this thesis is to present the context and the situation in which Greece found itself following the Paris Peace Conference, as well as the modus operandi of its foreign policy and the maintenance of international relations with the principal actors of the time in the subsequent years. Internal affairs, or domestic turbulences, if you will, cannot be overlooked. As every scholar of international relations is aware, internal dynamics are a crucial factor that influence and orient a country’s foreign policy.
