Teatro e Cinema nell'Era digitale: La sfida delle piattaforme streaming

Abstract

La tesi analizza la differenza tra performance e rappresentazione teatrale, evidenziando le distinte strutture, finalità e modalità espressive. Mentre il teatro tradizionale si fonda su narrazioni strutturate e realismo, la performance teatrale privilegia l’immediatezza, la fisicità e l’interazione con il pubblico. Viene approfondito il contributo di Jerzy Grotowski e del “teatro povero”, nonché l’evoluzione del teatro nell’era digitale. L’integrazione tra arti performative e tecnologie ha trasformato il concetto di “dal vivo”, rendendo l’arte più immersiva, partecipativa e accessibile a livello globale.

This thesis examines the distinction between performance art and theatrical representation, focusing on their respective structures, objectives, and modes of expression. Traditional theatre is typically rooted in scripted narratives and seeks realism, whereas performance art emphasizes the physical and emotional presence of the performer and a direct, immersive engagement with the audience. The study analyzes key figures such as Jerzy Grotowski and his theory of “poor theatre,” as well as the influence of digital technologies on contemporary performative practices. The integration of performance and digital media has profoundly transformed the concept of “live” art, expanding its reach, enhancing interactivity, and redefining the boundaries of artistic experience on a global scale.
