Proposta progettuale per l'insediamento di un'attività ricettiva all'interno del Forte Santa Tecla di Genova

Abstract

Il Forte Santa Tecla è una costruzione militare settecentesca che fa parte del sistema di fortificazioni orientali della città, al cui interno oggi vengono svolte varie attività. Questa tesi prevede degli interventi progettuali per rendere alcuni locali del Forte accessibili ad uso foresteria. Il progetto si sviluppa in due ambiti: il primo prevede la realizzazione di una foresteria per gruppi che vogliono pernottare al Forte, adeguata anche per la stagione invernale, mentre il secondo prevede una soluzione temporanea ad uso estivo più particolare, pensata per gruppi meno numerosi che desiderano vivere un’esperienza al Forte strettamente a contatto con le peculiarità di questa struttura. Entrambe le proposte rendono possibile il pernottamento al Forte senza intaccarne la struttura.

Forte Santa Tecla is an eighteenth-century military construction that is part of the eastern fortifications system of the city, where various activities are carried out today. This thesis involves project proposals to make some areas of the fortress accessible for a hosting activity. The project unfolds in two different areas: the first involves the creation of guest accommodations for groups wishing to stay at the fortress, suitable for winter as well, while the second one proposes a temporary solution for summer, designed for smaller groups seeking an experience at the fortress closely connected to its unique features. Both proposals enable overnight stays at the fortress without compromising its structure.
