AFFIDO FAMILIARE: COMPARAZIONE DEGLI ASPETTI CULTURALI NELL’AMBITO DELLA LETTERATURA PER L'INFANZIA ITALIANA E SVEDESE

Abstract

La presente tesi si inserisce nella più ampia ricerca diretta dal Professore Paolo Guidi concernente l’accoglienza in famiglia nella letteratura dell’infanzia ed, in particolare, l’importanza di quest’ultima nel trattare la tematica dell’affido e dell’adozione. Nell’ambito del progetto mi sono dedicata preliminarmente alla ricerca presso diverse biblioteche cittadine dei testi destinati all’infanzia che trattassero il tema dell’affido, includendo successivamente anche la tematica dell’adozione. Il mio lavoro esplora i contenuti della letteratura per l’infanzia partendo dalla seguente domanda: quali differenze emergono nel rappresentare la famiglia che accoglie un bambino in Italia e Svezia? Dal punto di vista strutturale la tesi si compone, sostanzialmente, di tre parti. La parte iniziale (capitolo 1) definisce le norme comunitarie che regolano la tutela dell’infanzia per poi approfondire il quadro normativo e culturale dell’affido in Italia ed in Svezia con la comparazione tra le due legislazioni. Nella seconda parte (capitolo 2) viene curata la definizione della letteratura per l’infanzia e la sua importanza nello sviluppo culturale ed educativo dei minori. Nella terza parte (capitoli 3 - 6) vengono definiti i criteri e le modalità seguiti per la selezione dei testi, nonché l’analisi degli stessi e la comparazione del materiale utilizzato.

This thesis is part of the broader research directed by Professor Paolo Guidi concerning the reception in the family in the literature of childhood and, in particular, the importance of the latter in dealing with the theme of foster care and adoption. Within the project I was initially dedicated to research at different libraries texts for children that dealt with the theme of foster care, later I decided to include also the theme of adoption. My work explores the contents of children’s literature starting from the following question: what differences emerge in representing the family that takes a child in Italy and Sweden? The thesis is structured in three parts. The initial part (chapter 1) defines the Community rules governing child protection and then goes into depth the legal and cultural framework of foster care in Italy and Sweden by comparing the two legislations. The second part (chapter 2) deals with the definition of literature for children and its importance in the cultural and educational development of minors. In the third part (chapters 3 - 6) the criteria and procedures for selection of texts, as well as their analysis and comparison of material used are defined.
