MIGLIORARE IL DIALOGO SULLE CURE DI FINE VITA CON "GO WISH GAME". UN APPROCCIO INNOVATIVO.

Abstract

Le persone che si avvicinano alle fasi finali del loro percorso di vita riflettono sul passato, sulle scelte fatte e sui loro ultimi desideri. Nelle S.S. di cure palliative le infermiere spesso si trovano ad affrontare insieme ai pazienti e ai loro caregiver proprio questo aspetto. Leggendo alcuni articoli mi sono interessata al gioco di carte Go Wish Game, e proprio per la sua singolarità di intervento è scaturita in me la voglia di intraprendere questo studio. Il gioco riesce a entrare in contatto profondo con i desideri e le volontà dei malati terminali, lasciando a essi la possibilità di aprirsi ed esternare alla famiglia e ai curanti ciò che vorrebbero attorno a loro negli ultimi istanti di vita.

People approaching the final stages of their life journey reflect on the past, the choices made and their final wishes. In the SS of palliative care, nurses often find themselves facing precisely this aspect together with patients and their caregivers. Reading some articles I became interested in the Go Wish Game card game, and precisely because of its singularity of intervention the desire to undertake this study arose in me. The game manages to come into deep contact with the desires and wishes of terminally ill patients, giving them the opportunity to open up and express to their family and carers what they would like around them in the last moments of life.
