| dc.description.abstract | There is an increasing interest and concern worldwide to the issues of sustainability such as materials production and waste management, countless are the studies and the researches done at multiple levels to try to find solutions to these issues.
The B Green Design project aims to bring the innovation on materials science and the consciousness on materials usage in an field where until now it has not been considered a priority, as a matter of fact, when we speak of transportation, and particularly cruises, the efforts are focused on the engine and the mechanics.
However, a better design management might have a really big impact on the whole environmental impact of the ship, especially focusing the attention on the cabins.
On board there are a lot of cabins, most of them are made of the same recurring elements, and for that reason are so impactful.
Le problematiche legate alla sostenibilità, come ad esempio la produzione di materiali e la gestione dei rifiuti, sono sempre più spesso oggetto di interesse e fonte di preoccupazione a livello mondiale.
Innumerevoli sono gli studi e le ricerche svolte a più livelli nel tentativo di trovare soluzioni per questi problemi, il progetto B Green Design vuole portare l’innovazione della scienza dei materiali e la coscienza del loro impiego in un ambito dove finora non è stato considerato ancora prioritario.
Nel campo del trasporto, infatti, ed in particolare della crociera, si sono maggiormente concentrati gli sforzi sulla parte meccanica e motoristica, ottenendo ottimi risultati.
Tuttavia, una migliore gestione nel campo del design può avere un influenza piuttosto importante nel calcolo dell’intero impatto che la nave ha sull’ambiente, specialmente nel caso delle cabine, composte di innumerevoli elementi ricorrenti e presenti in numerosissimi esemplari. | it_IT |
