Origini e culture intrecciate: le sfide identitarie e la musica rap dei giovani di origine straniera

Abstract

La tesi ha analizzato le sfide quotidiane dei ragazzi di origine straniera, specialmente quelle che riguardano la propria identità e di come la musica rap possa essere uno strumento auto rappresentativo e di denuncia contro gli stigmi assegnati al fenomeno dell'immigrazione. L'adolescenza, la famiglia, la lingua, la religione e la musica rap sono i temi principali affrontati all'interno dell'elaborato. L'obbiettivo della tesi è quello di mettere in luce come questi ragazzi sono degli "equilibristi" interculturali formidabili, i quali riescono a dare vita ad una "cultura terza", attraverso il proprio sentire tenendo in considerazione i valori della terra di origine e quelli del paese in cui sono nati.

The thesis analyzed the daily challenges of young people of immigrant origin, especially those related to their identity, and how rap music can be a tool for self-expression and a way to speak out against the stigma attached to immigration. Adolescence, family, language, religion, and rap music are the main themes addressed in the thesis. The aim of the thesis is to highlight how these young people are formidable intercultural "tightrope walkers," able to create a "third culture" through their own feelings, while also taking into account the values ​​of their homeland and their country of birth.
