Teoria degli elementi basici e applicazioni

Abstract

Questa tesi si inserisce nel contesto dell'algebra commutativa, tratta principalmente della teoria dei basic elements. Essi sono generatori minimali di un modulo che rimangono minimali nelle sue varie localizzazioni. Dopo averne studiato alcune proprietà, si passa alle applicazioni, principalmente svolte nell'ambito di moduli proiettivi, con risultati quali il Teorema di Serre, il Teorema di Cancellazione di Bass, il Teorema di Forster-Swan.

This thesis is set in the context of commutative algebra and deals primarily with the basic element theory. These are minimal generators of a module that remain minimal in its various localizations. After studying some of their properties, the thesis moves on to applications, mainly in the setting of projective modules, with results such as Serre’s Theorem, Bass’s Cancellation Theorem, and the Forster–Swan Theorem.
