Progettazione concettuale e grafica di un social network per studenti

Abstract

L'elaborato presenta diverse fasi di progettazione di un social network per studenti. Vengono analizzate le definizioni di social network e community e ne vengono indentificate le loro caratteristiche. Con questa base si affronta l'elaborazione dell'idea concettuale attraverso il processo di wireframing. Successivamente viene affrontato il processo di composizione del diagramma entità-relazione in ogni sua componente e permette di costruire una base per l'implementazione di un database relazionale. Infine si analizzano alcuni esempi di ricerche e analisi di dati all'interno del database attraverso raffigurazioni grafiche. Concludendo con alcune considerazioni finali ed eventuali sviluppi futuri del progetto.

The thesis presents different design phases of a social network for students. It analyzes the definitions of “social network” and “community” whilst identifying their characteristics. With this understanding, the concept is further developed with the help of the wireframing process. Moreover, the thesis systematically examines each step of the creation process of the entity-relationship diagram. This enables it to be utilized to build the fundamentals in order to implement a relational database, specifically it examines several examples of data research and data analyses with graphic representations. In conclusion, the thesis will present final considerations and further developments for the project.
