L'espansione Marittima Olandese nell'età moderna, e i rapporti con la repubblica di Genova

Abstract

La mia tesi magistrale riguarda l'espansione marittima dell'Olanda nell'Età Moderna. Inizia con la Guerra degli Ottant'anni (1568-1648) per ricercare l'indipendenza dalla Spagna sotto la guida di Guglielmo D'Orange, al termine di essa nel 1648 le Provincie Unite nascono. Durante e prima delle ostilità ci furono dei centri economici nei Paesi Bassi, Bruges, Anversa ed infine Amsterdam, luogo della fondazione della VOC nel 1602. La Verenigde Oostendische Compagnie si stabilì Indonesia a Batavia assieme vari avamposti in Asia. Per mantenere l'impero coloniale le Provincie Unite stabilirono relazioni con Genova, presente in Olanda e Zelanda fin dal 1200. Nel XVII e XVIII secolo i Consoli neerlandesi nella Superba Van Ryhn, Muilman e Bosch riuscirono ad unire le due nazioni marittime. La VOC nei secoli centrali dell'Età Moderna riusci a stabilire relazioni con la Cina ed in parte con il Giappone anche se non si integrò con le leggi di Togukawa. Nell'ultima parte della tesi Le Provincie Unite fondarono la WIC, gemella della VOC col compito di fondare nuove colonie in America, ci riuscì con l'attuale New York, i caraibi olandesi e per un periodo anche con il Brasile. La West Indische Compagnie entrò nella Tratta Atlantica catturando i malcapitati dal Continente Nero e stipulando contratti di fornitura con le altre nazioni europee, ad esempio con la Gran Bretagna in Virginia per il cotone. Il declino delle Provincie Unite iniziò con la Guerra di Secessione Spagnola 1701-1713, una serie di mosse sbagliate da parte dell'Aia portò a scontri nelle contee, seguita dall'annesione di Napoleone e alla perdita dei possedimenti oltreoceano. L'atto finale è rappresentato dall'indipendenza dell'Indonesia del 1949, da quella data ai Paesi Bassi sono rimaste alcune isole in centro america.

My master thesis is about The Dutch maritime expansion in the Modern Age. It begins with the Eighty years War (1568-1648) to find the Indipendence from Spain under the leadership of Guglielmo D'Orange, at the end of the conflict in 1648 the United Province were born. During and Before the Hostilities there were economics centres in Low Countries, Bruges, Antwerp and Amsterdam, place were the VOC was founded in 1602. To mantain the colonial empire the United Provinces enstablished relations with Genoa, present in Holand and Zeland since 1200. In the XVII and XVII centuries the nederlands Consuls in the italian city Van Ryhn, Muilman and Bosch were able to union the two marittime countries. The VOC in central centuries of the Modern Age were able to sourcing relationship with the Cina and in part with Japan, even if it was able to integrate with Tokugawa Laws. In the last part of the Master Thesis the Union Provinces founded the WIC, sister of VOC with the task to found new colonies in America, It made it with New York, the dutch carabbean and for a period with Brasil. The West Indische Compagnie came in the Atlantic Slave Trade capturing the prisoners from Black Continents and makes furniture contracts with the other European Nations, for example Great Britain in Virginia for the cotton.The decline of the United Provinces began with the War of the Spanish Succession 1701-1713. The Aia made a sequence of wrong moves that contribuited of many fights in the Counties, followed by the Napoleon's annexationand the waste of Overseas possediments. The final last is the Indonesian Indipendenxe in the 1949, from that date the Low Countries have remained just a few island in America.
